Don't do any spell that makes you uncomfortable, calls on god(s) you don't know, or questions your beliefs about your own reality.

Whell in Christian balive most forms of magic are a sin (even know they shouldn't get a vote in what is or isn't afther the massacres they did in the middle ages), but wica welcomes all forms of magic (despite their three fould law, it just says that magic with bad intende should be punished by the universe)
P.s.How is calling any gods or even saitan himself dangerous?
p.s. You do know that the only thing those religions have incoming ia that they say that being mean is bad so you can't really be one withoat braking some of the most baisic rules of the other so while I dont get people's deal with religion, and why is religion even remotely important, but I REALY dont get the people that call themselves cristan wicans, because cristan balives prohibite other God's and magic (in other words any other religions)

in the maiking of this post whe have not ment to insult any religious balives, in other words no offense

Actually, chaos, there are many traditions of Christianity that use magic, and have been doing so for hundreds of years. Though the terminology is not the same and one would not necessarily say "magic", it is done.

The bible is used in magical works and there are plenty of verses where people are calling on God to curse their enemies, bring in prosperity, ect..

Christianity is as broad as Paganism is. There are many branches and many beliefs. Lumping them all into one category and then presuming they all believe the same thing based on biased or fundies is no different that people looking at Pagans and assuming they worship the devil ;)

I'm a Christian and studying magic too. I would say that you should avoid spells involving calling on a god or goddess of a different religion for help in the spell. Or maybe replace the god or goddess with the deity you believe in, in the Christian case, God.

That's a personal choice.

In Hoodoo (Southern Christian Folk Magic), you can do harmful works if they are justified. The justification can come from your sound belief that you can stand before God and feel no guilt in it, or through the aid of spirits and/or Saints to let you know if it's justified.

Just to derail this thread a bit. In my opinion there is no such thing as a Christian Wiccan. The religions are totally incompatible. They each have specific beliefs and practices that do not in any way fit together.

Wiccans not only don't believe that Jesus was their savior (which is central to Christian Biblical teachings) but Wiccans likewise believe that we are not in need of saving. Wiccans have no concept of Heaven, Hell, of of Satan.

Wicca is at its most basic a fertility cult where the energy that powers the universe is drawn from the Sacred Marriage and sexual relationship between the God and the Goddess. Those who claim to be Christian Wiccans put Mary as the Goddess and either Yahweh or Jesus as the God. That would mean, under Wiccan beliefs, that Mary is having sex with either God or with Jesus.

Just because there are some things in which Wicca and Christianity won't argue over theology doesn't mean you can jam the two religions together. What you do when you try that is neither Christianity nor Wicca. It's a horrible mishmash of both.

What I find generally is that when calls themselves a Christian Wiccan they mean they are a Christian who casts spells. That doesn't make them Wiccan at all. They might be a Christian Witch or a Christian Mage, but Christian Wiccan..not so much.
