Moon phases

I have a question, it's kind of silly but I just wanted to check.

If the full moon is on, for example, 16th March - is it full on the night between 16th and 17th March or the night between 15th and 16th March?

I think it's the first but I'm not so sure.

The energies of the Full Moon actually last for three days. So if the Full Moon is actually full on the 16th it would count magically as full on the 15th, 16th, and 17th

Yes what lark said is true, the first night of the full moon is the fullest. But the full moon also last for three days.

I think xmv is confused about a.m. and p.m. example if the full moon is the 16th is it at 1am on the 16th or 1am on the 17th.
Unless I'm reading the post incorrectly.

Neither one actually. You'd need to check a moon table such as the one at http://www.calendar-365.com/moon/moon-phases.html to see when the Full Moon falls where you are.

What kim said.

I was asking if it says that the full moon is on the 16th - without a time mentioned, would it be on the night between 15th and 16th like maybe 16th at 1 am or something, or it would be on the 17th at 1 am or something close to that.

But now I got it - there's always a specific time. Thanks!

P.s.
It wasn't a silly question at all. It had me stop to think about something I had taken for granted.
