Why would any god let someone who had nothing to do with anything suffer for a family members problem. I've read the christian bible, buddhist bible, satanic bible, witches' bible, haven't got a clear answer yet. My mother thinks someone put a curse on her family and bad things only happen to the people that seem to believe in the curse.

I would suggest getting your mother a spiritual wash, whether or not the curse is real at this point is a moot subject, your mother believes in its power and therefore has a very real influence on her. So if you where to help her by way of spiritual bathing it would release the symptoms of negativity off of her, giving her relief from the curse.

curses are a mental state, if you believe it then it is real

think about from a different perspective, if you go through life cursed it means that anything you do will be against the odds, you will only continue to get stronger and stronger thereby nullifying the curse. it would have the opposite effect instead of hurting you, it would make you better and stronger.

that's what I think about curses anyway

whichwitch. You quote the Bible as though it is an absolute truth!
You may very well believe it is true, but it is a belief!
And a belief does not necessarily make it true.
Millions of Christians believe The Bible to be the word of God.
A great many more millions believe no such thing.

Tara the idea of people suffering for no reason is impossible to understand. An example is I've always found the concept of reincarnation and karma confusing as why should one suffer or benefit from choices they may have made in a life they neither remember nor have any control over? I personally believe you can send negative energy to a person but I don't think curses are as dramatic as they are made out to be, and I think the concept is mostly psychological. Sometimes I think to myself "I feel cursed" yet it's a phrase of speech rather than a literal belief as everyone has hard times. An example of the psychological aspect is I think if someone cursed you or sent negative energy towards you the likely result would be less pronounced if you weren't aware you were cursed as one's mind can dramatize things, such as the way some superstitious people expect horrible things to happen on Friday the 13th.
