I would like to know if an angel is trying to talk to me. 2 days ago, I bought concert tickets to see my favorite band. I didn't buy backstage passes because of the cost. Last night, I had a dream that a member of this band broke his leg, so he couldn't go on the tour. Then there were auditions to temporarily sing his parts on the tour, and I won. Halfway into the tour, the band and I became great friends, but when I was alone, an angel came down and said, "Eleni, there's something I need you to know." I asked what it was. "I need you to know that you are only dreaming and I need you to do me a favor." "What is it?" "Wake up." What could that mean?
The "angel" could actually just be a projection of your own conscious, expressing to you that this was only a dream. There have been many situations where one has a dream that's so mundane and realistic that when they wake up, they aren't sure if it was a dream or not. Maybe your own mind was trying to express to you that this was not and will not be reality, so that when you woke up, you wouldn't question if you just saw the future, or that when the concert actually does take place, you don't question which parts were actually happening, or which were the dream.
Angels generally aren't fond of humans, and only give messages or visit humans when sent by God. If you generally believe it was an angel, and not your conscious talking to you, the question you need to ask is, "What message was God trying to give me." which means you need to go over every aspect of this dream and see what God was trying to show you.

I've met angels before, I think you what you saw was a projection of your subconscious looking out for you. I would guess that this was a dream that you didn't want to end, maybe some part of you wanted to stay in this fantasy forever and live out all your desires. We are not permitted such a fate, by higher powers or our own self. It is our purpose to live life, with all it's victories and hardships, and become better people because of both. We can overcome any obstacle we face, no matter what, though not always in the way we expect. It is our destiny to choose our destiny even when it seems it is being chosen for us, and learn from every failure instead of succombing to our perceived attitudes simply because it's easier. We are all here and we all matter, not because it matters why we are here, but because it matters what we do while we are here. Blessed be.
