ha, this is an interesting post. I have to say that I really want to see my offline group expand and be more successful. I want to see magick be more commonly accepted. At a fundemental level I want to help people. I want to see our world become a better place where hatred has been tuned down. While none of these things are likly to happen (besides me helping people), this is still my goal in life.
Believe it or not I have a check list lol.
1. Graduate.
2. Spend 2-3 years living in the slums with a one bedroom apartment and at least 4 other struggling actors.
3. Mary someone rich to get out of the slums.
4. Make it as an actor
5. Divorce the rich one and marry for love now that I earn money.
6. Abandon the entire plan because you met someone you love and instead just go with the flow and actually enjoy life.
As you may guess 6 is the important one. We can plan life out as well as we want but ultimately no one knows where life will take them and the important thing is simply to enjoy it. If you reach the end of your life and are able to look back with a smile on your face then you are the most successful person in the world.
I want to perhaps write a book. In the long term, I'd like to become a politician and end up as a senator someday. Not so likely, but it could happen :P
What I'd like to do is get a degree in physics and, believe it or not, try to analyze magic using science. Of course, I doubt I'd get any funding if I listed that on my research plan, so I'd technically be trying to answer some of the more stubborn questions in quantum physics with my unique perspective on the field. I do hope to eventually prove the existence of magic (not to be, to scientists) and use that knowledge to further humanity's understanding of the Universe. I know I'm aiming pretty high, but why shouldn't I?
