how to see spirits

i now people who have learned to see spirits , but they wont tell me how, can anyone teach me too see them?

Not sure how to teach someone. I've seen spirits all my life. I think everyone was born able to but children are told that they are not real... What I tell people is to open up their minds and hearts and relax...

i too was born able to see them, so it's hard for me to explain. you could look into meditation, balancing your chakra's, and some psychic enhancing teas could help you.

Do you want to see "spirits"? Think about it. Would you really want to be psychotic? Everyone in here who says they can see spirits is just mentally ill. Just be glad you and I are normal people.

i think you have to be born with that power or almost die once to have that power, i'm not sure if you can learn it...oh and we're not "mentally ill" :/

I'm guessing I was born with the ability to see spirits. But I don't see them all the time, like a lot of people do. I've only seen brief glimpses of them before they vanished. So, I don't really think seeing them is my strong point. One thing to do is to accept they are real, and believe they are real. Because lots of people are closed minded and say spirits don't exist, therefore they don't see them. It's kind of mind over matter. But just believing in them probably won't grant you the ability to see them. I think most people are born with the ability, or gain it as they grow, so I don't think it can be taught. Correct me if wrong.

You should try training your mind's eye , the sixth chakra that is often associated with the color indigo. The Sanskrit name of this chakra, Ajna, means perception.

Daily exercises to aid in that:

  • Concentrate your energy at the level of your eyebrows when in a meditative state. Soon you will begin to feel pressure and tingling beginning to build in that area. Don't be alarmed.
  • Relax your body and mind, then close your eyes and be patient. Take note of images that arise in your mind and later dwell upon any symbolism that they might have.

These are only some daily exercises that could be done in 5 minutes. If you are serious in pursuing this, you should consult more detailed works on the matter.

Another thing you could do is begin to write observations down in a journal. Because many of us had been told that spirits/ghosts are not real, we convince ourselves that they are not real and the ability begins to get rusty. Opening our awareness to things that we consider usual and often too ordinary, will open our minds to an unordinary world.
