confused by what you mean. 'Wizard' is a title some practitioners call themselves, like 'Witch' 'Pagan' 'Wiccan' 'Mage' and so on. everyone [or at least 99%] on this site does follow a pagan path so yes, you could consider everyone a 'Wizard' though most don't tend to call themselves that.

by your reaction i have a feeling you're a bit confused by what a 'Wizard' actually is. it's not something out of Harry Potter, so we don't fly on broomsticks, shoot lasers from wands and fight mythical creatures. flying no, a wand is used to direct energy though not in the spectacular way Hollywood believes, and while i don't see why one would pick a fight with a mythical creature, many are astral, not physical, beings.

why do you need all your friends to be free on the day you do your Wiccaning? [conversion] i didn't have my friends present, and most people do typically have a solitary one, then they might have a group ceremony welcoming them to the coven. are your friends practicing Witches as well? also, while waiting for the full moon is a good idea, not everyone chooses to do it then, you could have it on the new moon, my friend actually did hers when the moon was in the same phase as the day she was born.

why are you becoming a 'Wizard' if you don't mind my asking? you could start practicing now while you wait. you don't have to cast spells, you could work on meditation, chakra work, energy manipulation, or you could study. if you're joining Wicca Scott Cunningham and Raymond Buckland are the most common [and respected] authors you'll find. if you're not wanting the spiritual aspect, you could study herbs, or crystals. there's a lot of studying in becoming a Witch/Wizard.

some people are natural witches, everyone cant be a witch... although some skills you have to be born with, e.g not everyone can see ghosts and the future.

I disagree. Witchcraft is a learnned skill. It can be taught. Now some people may not be as skilled as others. But everyone learns at a different pace.

anyone can be a witch, it takes practice. true, some are born with skills, it doesn't mean someone who is not cannot study, it'll just be harder for them. it's like art skills, some are born great artists, others learn, if you're determined enough, you can learn, it'll just be harder. personally, being a Witch has less to do with magic skills and more to do with knowledge.

In my way of learning I am a Wizard or what I refer too as someone who practices the craft without the total bounds and constraints of religion although I do follow the Wiccan and Druid paths, the Druid path formost to an extent. When it comes down to it it is all just a name no matter what. As stated above no we do not fly on broom sticks and all of that. And I can take any joe shmoe off the street and teach them my art and the skills of the craft and they could do it if they put their mind to it and excerised dicipline. So no we are not like Star Wars and have to have a certine amount of Midichloriens in our blood stream to use the Force. (Probably didn't spell that right Lol!)
