Does anyone know of any herbs that deal with inspiration, imagination, written communication and enhancing artistic skills?

During meditation most of the incenses are good. Frankincense, Myrrh, Dark Musk. Smoke from Sage is good. Mainly new ideas, and inspiration come from the meditation. Not so sure about the artistic! Some people are born with talent, some have to work hard at it. I'm not sure that herbs will help with that!

Frankincense and Myrrh would probably be my initial choice for creativity. Bergamot or orange could also work.

Well I used to have a wonderful imagination when I was younger and I always thought that I had a gift for writing. It's just that in recent years I seem to have lost my touch. I honestly don't know what happened.

Also in hoodoo there are ways to attain artistic skill at the crossroads. However I was raised as a Christian and some people associate the black man (the name of the entity) with the devil.
So as much as I want my creative spark back and to develop my abilities once again... I'd rather not deal with anything that dark.

I think you will be fine in your attempts to reclaim your talents. I myself was very artistic when I was a child, and exceptionally intuitive. Then I spent most of my 20s partying and just generally being non-creative. Now I find myself at a point in my life where I have loads of free time, and as a result I've been playing around with some of my old outlets. With a few weeks just playing around, I was able to warm things back up, in a way. So, just get in there, get your hands dirty, and I'm sure you'll get your groove back. I like burning Nag Champa and playing music in the background while I paint or sketch. Good luck. :)

I find marijuana to be very good for creativity as well, but as it is illegal in a lot of states and provinces, I don't recomend going out and trying to get some.

I know this isn't an herb, but you could ask Apollo for inspiration. :)
