Spiritual contact

I need help to become more receptive to the spirits. I have had contact with spirits many times before. But I want the communication to be developed. Can someone with experience give me some advice? How do I become a better medium?
What exercises should I do? I appreciate all the help I can get // Z.

There is a book out there by John Edwards, that medium guy off TV, he has some very good tips in there on how to develop your gift or expand it further.
