Spell Help
By:
So, I'm new to the craft, and need a little bit of spell help. I've learned what I need to learn, and tried some spells, but none of them have seemed to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Well that depends what sort of spell you were trying to cast. Note that spells for becoming a werewolf, mermaid, eye color change, teleporting and the like are purely fictional.

If you've tried a spell that wasn't fluff, it could be you just need to give it time to work. Spells don't work immediatly. They take time.

what were these spells? perhaps you need more practice, perhaps the spell was miswritten, or perhaps you tried casting a spell that wouldn't work [say transformation, levitation, invisibility] magick is subtle, so it might of worked but you didn't notice. [say you cast a money spell expecting to be handed 100$ but instead your parents asked you to do more chores. the spell worked, but not in the way you expected, so you turn down the extra work thinking the universe will just hand you cash, not realizing your parents would be giving you extra money for your extra work] you should also be observant after casting a spell, as the energy can effect different aspects to bring a desired change. [walking home you might get a strong urge to go into a cafe, you ignore it, but that could be the spell telling you your crush you just cast over is inside sitting alone.]

the universe/gods aren't going to simply hand you your desire on a silver platter, you still need to put in some effort, the spell merely sets up the situation.
