Light And Dark Wicca

Hi! I don't know how to start this thread. Hey! Hello! How are you doing? Oh, whatever.

I don't know how this all works, but I've kind of started my own little tradition. I call it light/dark Wicca, but, the name's a work in progress. Essentially, I'm about apreciating both the light and darkness in their own ways. They each have a set God/Goddess. My God, Kato, or Lord Kato as I refer to him as, is the god of darkness. Iridis, Milady Iridis, is the Goddess of light. This might seem backwards, but when you think about it, it makes sense. The moon, the classic symbol of the Goddess, reflects light. Not it's own light, but it is still light.

We have not a year and a day, but a month. We use this time to research a new Wiccan topic or tradition daily. Then, as I assume you would have no light/dark coven, you would have a self-initiation.

You pledge to follow either Iridis or Kato. Neither one is evil, but each does have its pitfalls.

I am the first initiated light/dark Wiccan. I'd love it if there were more of us!

Nothing on your profile. But, whatever it is you are advocating, it is most certainly not Wicca; in any way!

Many people assume wicca to be a religion as "whatever they want it to be" but as in every religion there are different tradition or sects.Either you can be a polythiest or maybe you could worship a single god/goddess.But the most important fact is the fundamental traditions of the religion we cannot twist them too much and based on these beliefs of mine i dont think it is a wicca tradition.

I would agree with the others. Wicca has specific core beliefs and practices that make it the religion called Wicca. When one strays too far from those beliefs and practices, as you have in your practices then it is no longer Wicca.

That's not to say that you haven't come up with a valid spiritual path for yourself, but it is in no way Wicca.

I never heard of Dark Wicca
Wicca is very nature and Karma based
A main reason why many of us who study Witchcraft as a practice along with our religions always point out that we are not wiccas
You can study black magick or Dark Witchcraft but then you won't be a true Wiccan, don't listen to the Goth kids who play dress ulisteb to the elders of the wiccan path
