The Goethia - Summonings

The Lesser Keys of Solomon: The Goethia is a superbly interesting book, being the detail of King Solomon trapping the named seventy two Demons in a Brass Jar. Now obviously there are more spirits than the named ones here. First off: does anyone know of any good sources for more named spirits? Secondly: In The Goethia the descriptions given by Solomon are varied, yet each named demon is given a number of legions for which they are the commander of, when summoned and contained within the Triangle of Solomon, would that mean that we are forcing the demon and the appropriate number of legions under them to obey? And does the power of the demon increase relative to the number of legions they command? I would assume yes, but am curious as to the general opinion.

As far as grimoires go, I like the Armadel the best. Although, I'm not a Hermetic, so I don't actually evoke like they describe.

But to understand more simply the art and science of this sort of ceremonial magick, I recommend Agrippa's Third and Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy. The first and second book are also excellent reads but won't directly give you information to apply to your practice as the third and fourth book will.
