Mother Hekate is very tender hearted and she see justice in everything So as a goddess of wisdom She will not just go on punishing you for no good reason.. at hard cases she can drain your magick for a long period or send her demons to make you suffer.. I prefer Give food and love to dogs.. do prayers and worship Hekate for sometime and Make a big offering at altar for her and ask protection and apologies.. then take the offering and keep it at cross roads.. Honey,milk,garlic,onion,apple,crystal,black cloths,candles,incense and oils,mint..etc can be offerings..
Remember Hekate will bring justice and truth no matter what.. Hekate Soteria (savior) Hekate phosphorus (Light bearer) are the one you should ask help..

Hecate would know how to deal with the stuff offered. Sometimes things can be good not only for you-Hecate, you give her an offering (honey, food, etc), and she makes possible to someone or even an animal to take the offering and eat that. If someone is doing anything bad about the offering, so, she has powerful enough to take decisions under that person and the consequences are between they alone.
Your work ends after you gave offering.. It's nothing your business what happen after you gave offering.. Still if you worry Best thing to do is Give edible offerings to animals or bury them or maybe in a running water.. For non edible and non-decomposable offerings, simply bury them or just leave where they are on the cross road..
