Can anyone tell me how to do Cartomancy? I know the meanings of the cards but how to read them?

Springboard to intuition:

An original, unconventional method about connecting with a deck:

Depending on whether you use tarot or lenormand or something else, there are many ways of deepening the meanings. Some meditations to imagine the image of the card in your mind, and then imagine walking into it. A study of symbols or numbers. That's just adding more possible meanings to the cards, which as I mentioned can make the springboard more bouncy into intuition--which is what you feel that a card means.

Keeping a diary of your readings and interpretations, adding possible "what it could mean" afterwards could also be helpful. For example, I read with the Shadowscapes tarot deck. The Death card would come up in my readings right before anybody got sick, which freaked me out at first, but since nobody actually died then I've come to interpret that card to signify "physical ailment". Because that's not a meaning of the death card in any book, I had to learn to listen to my intuition and back it up with observations that I recorded in my tarot readings diary.

So, that feeling that I followed is the same intuitive feeling I get when I draw a court card. A page in tarot can mean either "a young person" or "a message, like a phone call or e-mail"; so, I need my intuition to tell me which it is. If it's a young person, I need to work my intuition a little harder to figure out which young person in my life it refers to--or if it's somebody that I haven't met yet.

I hope this helps!
