Herb Suggestions?

Anyone have suggestions for my herb garden? So far I have thyme, rosemary, basil, catnip, lavender, parsley, oregano, and sage. Is there any other "must haves" for a herbal garden?

Many blessings,
Andlat

Plantain (Plantago major) is another of my favorite herbs. Many times it is considered a weed. I also like raspberry, blackberry, and wild rose (for the rose hips mainly) as well, both for food and as herbs.

If you haven't already, you will also want to make sure that you check the official name (Latin binomial) on the herbs you use for healing. The lavender especially as their are many species of it that all have different properties. Lavendula is the "true" lavender and the one know for it's calming effects. the other most common form is Lavendin which is more stimulating due to it's high camphor content.

Chamomile is too easy, and would go well with what you have already. Daisy like flowers contain many many seeds to keep the plants going year after year. Flowersf or tea, then just a few keep for the seeds. And mint is a must! But grow it in a container, as it can take over if you let it.
Sounds like you have a great garden. Good for you!

Garlic! Definitely garlic. It's great for a lot of spells and rituals, plus, it goes well with a lot of cooking!
