Any bookstore, metaphysical store, or ecletic boutique would sell tools for a beautiful yet functional altar.

As others have said, any new age store will carry altar supplies. They're easier to find in bigger towns, so Google is your friend in locating one.

Most of the supplies you need for an altar don't have to be purchased from shops selling metaphysical supplies. In fact you can buy everything you need in Walmart or in a thrift shop.

Some items can be found in the most common of shops. Such as Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or flea markets.

There are most likely metapysical/pagan/wiccan stores in your area. You might not know of any, but they are there.

You really do not need anything that you cannot buy from any market. Look at my profile, that's my altar. The owl has no significance; it is only there because I like it! The knife is very ordinary.
