are invocations important in spellcasting?
how do you create invocations?

[hopefully i didn't get the terms mixed up] you mean invocation as in inviting a particular being to enter your body? or evocation where you call upon a deity to be present in the circle?

personally, i've never done an invocation, i call upon the elemental dragons when casting the circle it's just a way to give your circle extra protection. it comes down to personal preference, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
