Candle Problem
By:
I was trying to cast a love spell for my friend, but the flames on the candles kept crawling up the match and lighting my finger on fire to the point where I had to drop the spell. Does that mean anything or do I just stink at lighting candles :)?

This simply means that matches are flammable, which is quite obvious as the entire purpose of a match is to create flame. However, one should think before casting--especially before casting for others--and especially love spells.

Should I just use a longer match?

Longer match and lighting candles faster would do the trick. However, I do not suggest carrying out the spell, though such a decision is of course up to you.

I agree with catnip. attempts should be made but portents should be heeded.

You could always use a traditional lighter if you don't mind it. (The BBQ lighters, not the small smoke lighters)

I've noticed this problem as well. The matches burn much too quickly. Yes, you could always get a long match. You could also set the lit match on a large pillar candle (So you're no longer holding it) and set that wick on fire, and then just tip the wick of the other candle into that flame. It's up to you.

It's nice that you're doing a spell for you friend, but it's to -help- any effort you put in. Their love life won't change if they just fall back on the spell. They need to do things as well. The love spell will only make it more... Potent.
