If you are concerned about that I suggest you don't do it. There are many people who use spells to heal and follow Christianity (I am making an assumption that you are Christian) they are called Faith Healers

God is not vicious. Even if this is not what God wants, it's healing! It's obvious that you're trying to do the right thing and God won't hold it against you if you're trying to do right and you slip up.

actually hanodden, christians can do spells, there is no real religious aspect to spell craft.

healing is a grey area zacksilver, you may be doing it for good, but the person doesn't want a spell cast upon them. this as a result means you forced your will upon another. while you're healing them, which is good, you're doing what you think is right, not what the person thinks is right, which is bad.

if the person is fine with it, then it's good. god wouldn't mind if you're doing it for good. the bible says it is a sin to let an evil sorcerer live [later revised to "Suffer not a witch to live"] witchcraft is found throughout the bible and the religion, it's just called other things. if it's not harmful or evil, it's alright.

if however you're pagan, not christian, and feel this way, it's rather odd. spells are used to help us in life through the hard times, the gods should not, and would not, be mad at you for it. the god and goddess, as i see them, just kinda do their own thing, interfering when they are asked. you live your life the way you see fit. when we die we go to summerland for a little while until we are reborn.

@jakwilliams depends. you don't believe, so no one can force you to. however, things like potions will work, if you make a tea with lemon and chamomile, it will help with ones cold. spells like chants, they involve faith and charging with your energy. there have been studies to prove or disprove their effectiveness, aka the placebo effect. placebo's have been proven to work, even when a person knows that's all they are.

I do not think that god will punish you for being a witch, or just for being a regular christian who is casting healing spells, you should not worry about that, but if you are concerned about it you should first calm yourself and then start casting spells, it can disturb the energy of the spells you cast if you will be always thinking that you are doing the wrong thing and that you will be punished by god.

By the way you ask it: "will god be mad at me?" I got the conclusion you are a christian, am i correct or not?
If you use a spell to hell someone and you have good motives, you are doing a good thing and your god will not be "angry" or "mad" because you are helping someone by sending healing energy towards him, or as well call it: using healing spells, this just makes no scene.
As said above, there are christians who are using several kinds of magic spells and it is correct. Most of them are priors to god, but there are energy workers in the christianity as well.
You can also read about karma for a little and understand when things are done wrong and lessons are being given, and when things are done with a good purpose and nothing wrong will happen because of doing them.

If you use a healing spell, god, or the universe as few of us say it, will not be mad at you and will not punish you, and as the christians believe if you do something good - like healing which is extremely good and helpful, and if done with a good motive you will even be rewarded. Yes, christians believe that god sees and remembers everything, and good people who do good things will get their goodness back by getting some kind of a reward, it is kind of like karma.

I have seen people saying this : "If you will cast any kind of a spell you are a devil worshiper. God will punish you and you will go to hell". I don't want to offense someone, but this is just funny and in the real christianity there is nothing about that thing.
The christian bible has its rules, and it says to believe in Jesus and worship him, other cultures will be accepted. There is nothing written about casting spells and about witches going to hell, the bible never said this and it is not even in the christianity. But it does says that a person who will harm someone (with magic or without magic) will be punished and might go to hell. But doing good spells is not mentioned anywhere and there is nothing wrong about it.

The belief that any one who casts spells and is a little interested about witchcraft was made up in the past by the church, not by the christianity or by the bible/god of the christians.
It was meant to scare people and to make lots of people to join christianity and not to believe in other things. I am sorry, i am saying it without any try to offend anyone, but in those days the religion was based on horror and threatening.
After this, it was taught in the wrong way and we make mistakes and think that the real Christian bible actually says that. This is not true as said.

To the point, you can do healing spells, and if you are a christian just as i guessed, god will even remember it for you as a good thing.

Best wishes.

Oh no!!!

Have you ever blew a birthday candle on a cake? If you have, that's considered a spell! Heck!

If you ever lied then I dunno whats the problem of doing spells.

If this is going to be a trouble, then I rather leave this journey.
