Crystal amethyst ?

When ever i carry the crystal amethyst with me i get pressure on my temple why is that ?

In terms of magick that's a build-up energy. A concentration of energy at particular spot.

i dont know what that has to do with the Amethyst, maybe its blocking u up? like the above person said (sorry forgot the name)

Amethyst, like all Quartz is an amplifier and purifier of energy. Some people do report pressure or pain in their head/temples when wearing or carrying it. I would suggest grounding yourself every time you notice this happening. If it does it often, try carrying it for a short period of time and slowly increasing it each day. Remember to cleanse your stone often(smudging, moonlight, or salt work well) as they will get a buildup of energy from you and everything around you.

As with most crystals some are not meant to be with us at this time, I've had some just let me know that they are not for me. As an example I made some pendulums with various crystals,the rose quartz one didnot want to be mine so at the first chance it went to someone who was in more need of it than me.I relinquished ownershipof the crystals.So that particular crystal may not be amatch for you, just my two cents worth.

To add to what MadAngel stated concerning cleansing, you can also run the crystal through the smoke of a burning incense as a means to cleanse it of negative energies.

Another cleansing method is to immerse the crystal in a glass of water, preferably spring water,but thatlacking regular water will do.Place glass on window sill where sun and moolight will bathe it for Appx 3 days, this will purify the energy and you can assign the crystal its task(s).
