I am looking for a spell

I am looking for a very particular spell.

A friend of mine is in a relationship she wants out of. Not because the guy she is with is inherently bad or mean or anything, but that she now knows she is badly mismatched in many respects.
She has tried in the past to "escape" but each time he hints at suicide, or "coincidently" has an "accident" and hurts himself, and uses that to keep her around. I'm not accusing him of anything, but...
She cares about him, and wants him to go in peace, and be with who-ever he is meant to be with, and be happy, but he refuses to even discuss it.
OK, now for the spell type I need, something to make it his decision to leave, and to do so in a way that will leave them both able to move forward peacefully, to where they both are meant to be.
Also, while I appreciate the cautions, and I respect the views of others in regards to this, is it too much to ask not to be preached at? I understand some have very strong feelings against this sort of spellwork, but I'm trying to help a close friend, and do it in a way that no one gets hurt.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

You don't need a spell. This is emotional blackmail, and nobody should give in to that!
Your friend should tell this man, in no uncertain terms, to get out of her life. If he threatens suicide, tell him to go ahead. At 30 years of age she should not have to put up with this rubbish.

Agreed, and that's all well and good. I mean, I can wag my finger at her and tell her exactly what you say. (That's assuming I haven't already)

However, seeing as this has not previously worked, leads me to the original posting.

Well if you have told her already, and she is still with him, then there is nothing that you can do. It is up to her to get out of the relationship. She must say that she wants out, and then stick to it. If he chooses the suicide option, then that is his decision. But, being one who was in this situation, he will not choose to end his life. These guys (and girls) play emotional blackmail with people. You are led to believe that it will be you fault if they end their life; something no one will want on their conscience.

So, please try to get her to just walk away and not look back.

Believe me, I have tried. The ONLY reason I'm asking here now is that to a degree, I think some of her fears may have some validity.

I don't disagree with your points, they are all well made, and I agree in principle, however having seen first hand the dynamic going on, as long as it has, and knowing her as I do, I'm more than just a bit concerned. I'm not looking to cast a dark spell, although the thought had crossed my mind. My preference would be something to get him to release his hold on her, and leave of his own accord, so she won't be tethered by fear or worry. Sadly, regardless of the "Logic" of your points (to which I agree) there is also the matter of what is, is.

I mean, if it was me, and some numbskull I knew I wasn't supposed to be with started sqwalking about killing herself if I left, I'd break out the video camera and say "Here, let's put it on tape, I'm sure there's some show that'll pay big money for a fool knocking themselves off" and the point hopefully would be made, they'd be fine, and I'd be free.

With her, that isn't the case. I have tried the "just sit back and do nothing" approach long enough.

Which is why I was asking here. If that was a bad idea, then I apologize.

If all else fails, she should call the Suicide Hotline where she lives. Undoubtedly this man is in need of some serious help which magic can do nothing for.

I wish you and she the best.
