Hm, any suggestions?

Hello all.

I have been doing Astral Projection for several days now. And, I think I am getting somewhere. Alas, I never achieve my goal, and always end up failing. It's much to hard to explain. I know that once you enter your 'vibration state' that's when you are ready to begin your ascent into the Astral Plane. But, I'm not entirely sure that is what is happening to me. I shall show you my steps. I normally attempt to AP in my bed. Using the 'Rope' method.

1. Get relaxed. Usually takes me 2-3 minutes at least.
2. Get into my bed, under the covers, and close my eyes.
3. Think of the imaginary rope, and use the imaginary/spirit hands, and begin to "pull".
4. After 5-7 minutes, I begin to feel dizzy.
5. A little while after, I begin to feel... weird.

Those are what usually happens. When I begin to feel weird, I can't determine if it is the vibrations or not. I do feel a pull, but never obtain the real projection.

Any suggestions? I know a few days might be early, but I feel so close to it, and never reach it.

Those are good signs, just keep at it-the seperation is usually the most difficult part.

try it from a semi-reclined position rather than the bed..and certainly not under the covers..you're signaling your brain it's time to sleep, so there is a conflict.

Great advice bro(Stony).
Kikyu, is the dizzy weird feeling a buzzing/fizzing sensation?
well if it is then you're progressing.
Try to ignore the weird sensations( according to Robert Bruce), it sounds like chakra activity.
Don't let the feelings distract you, remain, as calm as you can and focus on climbing out mentally, after a couple attempts you'll soon be actually climbing out.

Thank you all.

I have been trying Theta binaural beats, and they seem to work, for the most part. My body "feels" numb, and I get dizzy. Some of the same buzzing or vibration state. Then, just last night, I had a breakthrough. I tried one of my own techniques. I tilted just slightly, and I felt even more vibrations and I was so close. But then it just started hurting, and when I mean hurting I mean pain. So, I let go of the separation.

Any thoughts on this?

When you say pain which part of your body pains ? sometimes it can be the crown and third eye area feeling like a crushing pressure..This is due to those parts being over energized.
Other problems that can occur are that specific parts of your body are not relaxed enough or hold physical tension in them thus those parts of the body are unable to seperate..most likely also is that the part of the body maybe be unresponsive due to eating a heavy meal before hand and having undigested food still in the stomach causing the energy centers to become unresponsive, try not to project until aleast a few hours after a meal, when tired and in a lying down position. Try working on some trance techniques also to help you become relaxed ..breath in through your nose deeply the out through your mouth and release all the built up tension. It is also advise that if you are feeling pain etc to take a break for awhile and try again later.

Thus what I have done.

The pain seem to be coming from that area or sorts. But, it's kind of hard to tell.

If the pain is coming from your head area and the crushing feeling ..try not to over stimulate that area with energy.
If it is somewhere else and the pain is a bit intense ..try stopping for a bit , try again a bit later on...most people new to projecting will feel some sort of pain once you progress it should settle down.

Would need to know which area it is in specific and how it feels..then maybe give advice on some common projection problems and solutions.

Hm, okay mostly on the right back of my head. Some in the supposed area of the 3rd eye? I haven't been able to try at all this week, do to being too tired to actually try. Most likely the weekends are my practice dates.
