School Cheating

Cheat 1(Theme writing):
All I have is 3 candles, so I lit them in triangle. I was in the middle with a book. The words I used were: , , (Translated: Give me the answers, reveal the secret, show me the future) Just something I made up on the moment. When I opened the book 3 times I got the 3 themes I had on my exam - there are 30-40 themes and since I'm in University they are big. WORKED!

Cheat 2(test picking):
My lovely 3 candles in triangle. Me with a pen in the middle.
The words written on paper: , (Translated: This pens writes only the truth for it's my sword of knowledge). Took the test without reading a thing. WORKED!

Cheat 3(still working on it)

All exams taken without studding or visiting any classes!

I am not even going to begin the number of ways this won't work, but merely state this.

Magick does not do it for you. For example, you can cast a spell to get a better grade, but unless you put the work in(studying, going to class, etc) you will not get the results you want. If you do, then its just dumb luck and not magick at work.

End of story, by by, see ya later,

Why cheat? Learning is important. Education is what will make a difference in your life. Hard work and responsibility are needed. :)

Glim, I agree, of course you need to put some effort in it... unless you charm the professor or something. It's just that when I try these "cheats" I put much much less effort.
Education sux. The place for learning is not in the university, it's outside. The university is just some place where you prove you are not a total idiot and get a diploma for that.

Cheat 3(way too much to earn):
Same as before. Just this time I asked to get 1 exact question. I got that question :)
Nearly worked for me: I answered my question, but the professor decided that I should have cheated so before he gave me the C he called me and asked me 2 other questions, that I could not answer... In 3 months I'll retry

I hate to break this to you Sigilcreed, but without that "I'm not an idiot diploma" that you are talking about, you end up with a dead end job, and barely scraping by. I'm speaking not only from personal experience, but from the people I see loosing their jobs, or being replaced by those who have said degree. These "cheats" are not only wrong morally, but IF they would even work, they would not be beneficial in the long run.

When looking from a spell casters perspective I give extreme congratulations on finding out such simple ways of getting good marks and it's very intresting how these spells worked out for you.

And of course if you want to look at it from an intellectual perspective it wasnt too smart in thought of the future.

But all in all I am looking at this as a spell, and not just a way to cruise through university, and i think that's pretty cool how you were able to naturally come up with these spells and make them work. Congrats!

I can't really see what you mean Sigil by learning takes place outside and not in. It's as Silver says, the diploma gets you places in the real world, with out it your not going to get too far.

Plus, and this is where it counts most, working to getting that diploma/degree/etc. proves not only to other people but also to yourself that your willing to put the effort in to learn something, and once you've proven you can learn one thing, it is pretty much sure that yaou're bound to learn more from that.

Think of it this way:

If you were cheated in first grade, say you were suppose to read a book out loud or something, and instead you learned to memorize what how others read it. You deprive yourself of the ability to read, which later on impacts on the rest of your life in every aspect.

A more meaningful example(one that relates more towards magick and the alike), if you go around asking for spells, or have others cast spells for you, you deprive yourself of the natural skill of casting/writing spells of your own(which would probably work better then someone elses spell for you). Also by not putting the effort in, you then lack the desire and will to do things such as doing research(which is a big lack these days by many I'm noticing).

So, to make a long story short. Just because it might be the EASIER way to do it, DOES NOT MAKE IT THE BETTER WAY to do it.

Personally, I think thats what is going wrong with todays younger generations. Too many people wanting a quick, right now answer/fix, with out putting the effort in.

For those that would rather get the video version of what I'm talking about, just watch "Idiocracy". If we're not careful we might just end up like them.

Like I said, why not just LEARN and STUDY. Education is important.
