Hey everyone. I know there's many ways to cleanse crystals and I was wondering which method you use or is your favourite. Personally I cleanse them with an elixir I make from sea salt, sage, amethyst and carnelian. Thank in advance for any replies :D

Well, I either use running water (tap or otherwise) But, I like to use a amethyst geode to cleanse my crystals. For some reason I just like it.

I like to leave mine in a glass of water (I usually do one at a time). I sit the glass under a window and leave it there for a day and a night. I have a busy schedule, so I like this method because it's simple and quick.

I like running water from a tap to cleanse my hard working crystals. Gives them a nice 'clean' feeling that I can't get any other way. Otherwise I just run them through incense :)

I have an altar table that is loaded with several kinds of crystals, including a few that are known to cleanse other crystals. Moldovite can be hard to find, but is an excellent example. Others include Amethyst/quartz clusters and Kyanite, which are usually easier to get a hold of. Keep a cleanser crystal on a small mirror in the sun, and just keep the other crystals you own around it. If you want you can even use it as an excuse to make a layout or Crystal grid while you are at it... if you have the table space.

I also wash them in running water on occasion because it physically cleans them along with the energy. Smudge oil works as well.

If you have a crystal that is darkening or otherwise giving a sense of burnout/being 'tired', you can also oil it then drip melted wax from a candle over the crystal until it is encased. Store it in a thick dark fabric in a dark place for a while, or bury it in dirt somewhere you won't lose it (a plant pot works). Give it a full lunar cycle then gently soften the wax with heat until you can wash it off and leave it in the sun for another lunar cycle before you work with it again.

*insert caution to be aware of the composition of the crystal you are concerned about here. Some are negatively affected by water or oils*

Hello, Jaxies here.

I would it say it depends on which crystal I am cleansing . But, the most common method I have been using it soaking them in sea-salt and just giving off my positive vibes.

For the most part I put my crystals in salt, but I also love running them in river water when I have a chance to.
