A little help?

So, I found this spell a while back (Almost a year ago, I believe), and I did everything the in the instructions, and I had the side affects of this spell, but it didn't work for me:
http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/fantasy_spells/dragon_spells/11430/page.html

I knew it was a long shot, but my dog had died recently, and I really love caring for people/animals, and I just felt like I needed something to care for.

I put a lot of faith into this (even though it was a long shot), and I was wondering if anyone could help me with this, or suggest something that would actually work.

Thank you!

Try a summoning spell and if you do it right you might be able to talk to your dog.

That spell is more if you were going to create a dragon in a video game. Could possibly work out but will not be physical like the guy said it could be. Are you looking for a physical pet or are you ok with one that is more like a spirit? If you want one that is more of a spirit I suggest looking into animal spirits and learning about seeing them. Awakening the psychic ability to see spirits. And then you could do a spell to call for one. Make it up yourself if you want. And keep in mind that it will be an animal of any kind that crosses paths with you when you do the spell. And be careful! Always protect yourself! Especially when calling spirits. Now if you want to MAKE a spirit animal that is something completely different all together. And if you want a physical creature to nurture I'd go to the pet store. Or wait for a familiar. I know someone who opened their door and a cat just waltz into their house and made itself at home lol! Hope this helps at all. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Thanks for the help! I was kind of hoping for a physical being, but again, I knew it was a long shot.
And believe me, I've tried pet stores (Lol), but nothing just seemed as... fitting, I guess, as a dragon.

Again, thank you so much for the help, and I'll be sure to ask if I can think of any questions!

Also, for your friend who just had a cat waltz in, I'm beginning to wonder if that's happening to me; I've had about three or four stray cats come to my house within the last year, and mind you, I live in a pretty small city/town (Whatever you want to call it), and I've never seen a stray pet out here before. But that doesn't meant they're not out there.

And currently, like I did for the last ones, I'm taking care of a fifth stray cat. (I put food and water out for it, and I leave blankets out)

If you're really determined to have a dragon, there are some just-for-fun options, depending on what animals you can purchase in your area (hedgehogs, for example, are illegal where I live because they're indigenous and owning a native animal is forbidden). But I digress.

If you can get a bearded dragon, they make really fun pets. Plus there are accessories available for them, like dragon wings. Carrying a little dragon around in your hand, letting it eat vegetables from your fingers, watching it hunt crickets ... It's all great fun!

Well, I would love to do that, but sadly my parents don't want me to have a lot of animals in the house (Especially caged ones), because they cost a lot of money, but thanks for the help anyways!

Yeah I am not sure about the cat thing. I mean, if you put food out then they will inevitably come around because they are hungry strays. Its nice that you are helping them out:) I had a cat around here for about a week. My brother was feeding it and then he went to his friends and I am never home so the cat didnt come back. Was the cutest thing ever! I loved that cat!!!

I feel your love for dragons. I have always wanted one and have been fascinated with them all my life. There is only one way I know to get one. It requires a VERY open mind and would take A LOT of hard work and research. What do you know about other dimensions and other worlds/universes. What do you know about the veil of time and space? My point is that in order to get a dragon you would have to open a physical portal between this world and a world where dragons exist. Now lets say dragons existed on earth long ago. That would make our search a lot easier. You would just need to go back in time. I dont see this happening very soon but its interesting to think about. There is one more long shot that may be applicable. The idea that dragons are still living on this earth. Dragons live a long time according to lore and can outlive entire civilizations. If this is true then they are in hiding. Only two places a dragon could hide. A) In the water, and B) Under ground. If Dragons do exist out their today that is where to find them. There could always be dragon eggs around too. They take forever to hatch and according to some lore they need a dragon lord or a dragon to hatch them. They do not just hatch on their own. Some reading I have done also suggests that ONLY dragon lords can hatch dragon eggs. If that is true then by humans being wiped out over and over could cause a problem. Maybe there are unhatched eggs somewhere?! Anyway, it is fun to think about. I am not suggesting any of this to be fact but I would never rule out anything. I mean, how could we as humans make new discoveries if we ruled out things just because it can not be proven:P There is so much we do not know. Sorry I took so long to get back to you. I am not notified when people comment back to me. Inbox me if you ever wanna talk magic!

Sorry it took so long to reply; I've been spending way more time outside since winter is coming soon, and I have a limited amount of nice days left until there's five feet of snow on the ground and it's twenty below zero out.

So to answer your questions on what I know about the veil of time and space, and other universes and dimensions; Magic wise, I have absolutely no idea. Scientifically proven wise, quite a lot.
And I think that's one of the problems for me; I prefer to look at things in a logical or scientific way instead of just having blind faith in something.

And about the time traveling (which I agree most likely won't be happening any time soon): If you were to change time by a billionth of a second or less, it would absolutely forever change the timeline of Earth's and the Universe's history and future. So that's out of the question.

Anyways, thank you so much for answering my questions! :P
