The theory behind teleportation is to basically destroy a person or object on an individual particulate level and then re-assemble them/ it in another location. This is impossible. Once matter has been disassembled on such a level, it is not truly the same mass it originally was. Even if it was remotely possible, a person would not survive such a process. This is just how I understand it to be, could be off-base.
Teleportation is the theoretical transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. It has a commonly recognized place in science fiction literature , film, and television, but as yet has a very limited application in real world physics , such as quantum teleportation or the study of wormholes.Its pure physics as far as my knowledge is concerned "It isn't possible"
The newest and most probable theory to date is the Wormhole Theory, which creates a worm hole( A direct overlap of point A and point B)and tears a hole in the space-time continuum to achieve this instantaneously. Despite that this is a logical theory and will not rip us apart to tiny atomic sub-units, we still have yet to be able to produce a wormhole and their existence is entirely rand, we also wouldn't know how to poke a hole in the space-time continuum and have yet to prove directly that time is the fourth dimension.
Despite this we actually have achieved teleportation, but we can only do so with tiny atoms and for a small distance. We are hoping to perfect this in the future to be able teleport water molecules to third world or drought ridden areas. Sadly though we have not been able to teleport things large distances despite how tiny the atom is.
