I would like to find out some basic alchemy recipes, or be shown a page containing them.

Alchemy is scientific experimentation mixed with philosophies about making the world better through science from my understanding. As such, there are not any spells to post about alchemy. :-)

Mindless is correct! Modern Alchemists prefer to be called Scientific Researchers. They hate being called Alchemists! But that is exactly what they once were!

Why would they be so against being called alchemists? I know personally that I prefer being called that

Because it used to be associated with witchcraft, and they don't really like that. As it was illegal until 1951. And witchcraft is still frowned upon by some. The Medical Profession owes a lot to witchcraft, but modern Scientists do not acknowledge it!

:) Science and alchemy are the same thing just like most magick is unexplained science. They can't prove magick doesn't exist so scientists get mad when labeled alchemists which is related to the theory of magick.

Some Alchemical practices were associated with religion and spirituality while some were not (three prominant paths associated with it are Christianity, Islam, and Taoism). You also have medicinal, mineral, and various other kinds of work and if you want recipes, there eare lots to be had. Because Alchemists were secretive about there works, not all were literal recipes and many practices were heavily strewn with sigils and metaphors. Also keep in mind that different Alchemists didn't have universal beliefs or philosophies as they grew and expanded as time went on. Here are some links;
