Just concentrate. I visualize the energy starting with my toes. As I concentrate on what I want to accomplish I can feel it. Its hard to explain. You just have to practice. Lots of practice and patience.

Generally people start with meditation in order to better focus their energy. People usually draw energy up from the ground and express it through their fingers. I suggest browsing the site for meditation techniques, and perhaps you should look into chakra, they, if nothing else, help visualise your energy.

If you can do this, then draw your energy from your source, be either the earth or yourself and imagine it traveling up your body and out your fingers. Sometimes giving it a colour or a visual representation helps if you're having difficulties.

Sorry! Not my best description, though I firmly suggest meditation!

If I recall corectly, there is an exercise in which you can do that will help you get better at energy work. Rub your hands fast together until they get sort of a tingly feeling. Then visualize air coming out of one hand a nd touching the other. Practice this until you feel the air, it will have a temperature.
