More of a question really

I'm now a college student, and I live in a dorm room. We're not allowed to have candles, or anything that burns. Any suggestions about what I could possibly do? I mean, I know they say it's not allowed, but if it's religious grounds, I would think they'd make exceptions... if not, alternatives, perhaps?

well i don't think they're alowed to stop your religious believes but you could just do your spells somewhere else.

it poses a safety hazard, and while they may make an exception, they have every right to say no. religious does have some pull but endangering lives is one of the things rarely overlooked for religion. there are electronic candles you can get as a representation for the real thing however, they aren't as great, but they should work for most workings that don't require one to burn down the candle or burn something in the candle's flame.

I can guarantee they won't make an exception. It's a safety hazard and if you get caught they'll give you one warning. Get caught again and you'll be looking for a new place to live.

Personally, I find burning candles to be more symbolic than anything. You can get along fine with unlit candles.

You do not have to have an actual candle. Use your visualizing and focus.

You could always use colored crystals instead of candles the give off moderate amount of energy. Just be sure to recharge them after use.
