Exactly, you just got to keep trying and keep your head up honey. Don't let depression overrun you and stop you from practicing or doing what you believe.

Maybe you are right! All day I am depressed but at night I see a lot of dreams and they are mostly positive...

I start thinking stuff will be good and that never happens :(

Maybe stop expecting good things or looking for good things and just allow them to come, as if you're too focused on looking at one thing something good might slip right out in front of you and you might miss it as you're focused on it being something else.

As for the meditation, as the others have said, it can bring out what you need to know or question in order to grow. Ask yourself why you're remembering these things. Maybe you just need to find peace in them so you can find a greater level of peace within yourself? Maybe try to release some of the people or emotions and memories holding you back.

Just keep in mind that with each bad thing comes something good and vice versa, just be positive and open to receiving and I'm sure positivity will come your way :)Possibly even give yourself a cleansing to feel fresher.

I went thru a dark time myself, so i understand that intimetly. Meditation would always bring emotions to the surface that i would supress. I agree with doing a cleansing and really focus on getting rid of negativity from your aura. Hold on to hope. Message me if you need to. Love and possitivity to you

You should consider that this can be a coinsidence or it is just part of the process through meditation you reach your inner self which means you have to face everything that holds you back and make a new start becomee a wiser and stronger person keep up with the meditation it can only get better from now on

When you meditate first you are connecting with a higher energy. One of the affects of this is a heightened awareness. The things you are seeing around you are probably always there you just don't usually notice them. As far as depression is concerned this can be due to something physical or you may have an excess of energy in your body. I recommend you cast a circle around you when you meditate. Or find and concacrate a special spot where you meditate. Too often we bring the negitive energies of our everyday lives with us into spiritual practices. At the very least try grounding yourself when your done. This might help.

Not to offend anyone, as being upset and down is never a mice thing, but unless you have been diagnosed with depression, you shouldn't be throwing that word around just because you feel low for a week or two. It can be quote offensive to people who actually have the disease.

We experience bad events in our life so we can learn and grow from the experience. We experience anger, sadness, and fear because it makes us better people to feel that way and use those feelings for what we need.

very good suggestions!! you could also burn white sage prior to meditating that clears the area of negativity..I also strongly suggest doing a circle before meditating...if you do not know how to create a circle you are more than welcome to in box me or if you feel more comfortable you can Google it..may I also suggest using a whit candle(s)..sending you positive guiding endergy

well there are different ways of meditation, when I feel depressed it's always for a reason, there are things I need to learn and let go. sometimes I start crying for no reason at all, I know it can be painful at times but cry, just let the tears flow. when we meditate we get in touch with our higher self and so we open up to our self, our past, we pick up on energy's that are flowing around us and energy's that are directed at us. try to draw down the divine light in to your soul, draw it in trough your crow chakra as you see in your mind's eye the white light passes though the core of your body, lighting up all your chakras then spreading out form your earth chakra and rooting it self in the earth down to the core, when you have come to this point you need to see with you mind's eye your self travelling up the pillar of light to the point where you see the world before you. then form you heat chakra channel all the divine light you possibly can toward our planet, and in that light you send all the love you have to give, forgive all that has been done to you and forgive all that you have done, forgive your self and for give the world. when I do this I often cry, but after I cant stop smiling and I feel lighter not just in my hard but physically to. hope it works for you too.

PS! it takes some practise, if you loose you consideration when your drawing down the light and rooting your self to the world and start thinking of other things you need to start over.
