Lighting a candle in his favourite colour and praying is good if you are not available to do anything else.

You can make a symbolic grave for him in your room or outside in nature. It can be anything from a stepping stone with his initials on it to a sort of elaborate alter. Just do whatever feels right. I offer my condolences.

sorry to hear that. the candle is a good idea. on Samhain, try to set an extra place for him at dinner, and put up a picture of your friend with a candle beside it to invite his spirit back fro the night if it hasn't already crossed over by that point.

you could also try planting a tree, or something he was fond of, in his memory. when spring and summer rolls around many towns and cities have volunteer groups who plant trees and other greenery in parks and places around the community, so talk to them about planting a tree for your friend.

I am truly sorry for your lost. I will contribute to his remembarance. I know how it feels not to be able to do much because we are so young. But all of us together will make a big impact.
