Own Realm Spells?

I recently read of a spell to create your own realm. http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/trick_spells/illusion_spells/11409/page.html I would like to know if it is possible to cast WORKING spells in a realm like that. I don't have candles or herbs, so if I could make a realm or something of the sort and 'conjurer's up some candles in the realm, that would really widen my area of expertise. So if you know of a way to do something like that, please let me know. Thanks!

Yes, you can, no need to create an entire realm though. Just create a sacred place or an astral temple.
