Rune Casting: Information

Hello and merry meet :D

I recently made my first set of Futhark runes, as I acquired what could be described as a "brief overview" of the art of Rune Casting.

I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a couple of good, comprehensive works on Rune Interpretation? I understand that a lot of it has to do with the traditional meanings of the rune and gut instinct as to what it could signify in the casting, but what I'm really interested in is how runes interact with one another, and a detailed description of each rune's traditional meanings.

Thanks for any information!

Edred Thorsson has a lot of in-depth books that I enjoy concerning this. I would recommend looking into him.

Also, if you use the search bar, I believe WhiteRav3n made a post on runes awhile back and it is pretty comprehensive.

I'll look in to that author. However, by comprehensive, I mean I'm looking for something with a detailed history behind each rune and it's historic uses/meaning... I'm hoping for something along the lines of an entire chapter dedicated to each rune.

I am in an in depth study class on runes and the book we are using is by Diana L. Paxson, "Taking Up The Runes" it is a great reference source. I 've read a few rune books and will tell you to stay away from Blums book.

Paxson's work is pretty comprehensive as well, so that's a great suggestion.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys :)

Most of this will definitely help me in my study of Futhark runes.
