There are already plenty of covens that teach magick in general. Just find that suits your needs.

What kind of magicks are you wanting to learn?

Like the above post it depends on what you want to learn as different covens tend to focus on different aspects of magick, though I don't think you can make a wrong choice though if you feel you have simply leave though only due so if the coven truly isn't for you. You may want to also look at the coven rules as some have certain guidelines you must follow that you may find...restrictive. Just weigh your options and look at the different covens, maybe talk to some of their members, etc...

I think its best for you to read each coven, check for activity, and pick whichever coven calls to you. It really is a personal experience, even if you never see these people face-to-face. If you like, you could even mail the priest/ess and learn about the coven from them.

Good luck in your searches.

Can one join more than a single coven? Or once you join one that's it unless one decides to leave it (for some reason)

No you may only be a member of one coven at any given time, you can join and leave them as you see fit but this helps with the specialization and bonds of covens. Otherwise many people would join all the covens and they'd just become extensions of the main forum.

I see, thank you for the info.

As a side note, I wanted to expand my knowledge on holy/white magick as well as some nonaggressive and non-hurtful gray magicks; is there a coven I should look into that would satisfy either or both of what I'm looking for?

Well if you like holy and (what is typically referred to as) white magic an obvious choice to me would appear to be the Christian Wiccans although I strongly urge you to read there and some other bios of covens to choose the one that's right for you.
