Third Eye and Meditation

I'm finding it very hard to meditate. I can't concentrate enough to do so. I go into a quiet room, I clear my mind, and I breathe deeply, but I just can't seem to meditate. I want to open my third eye, but unless I meditate, I can't do so. Any suggestions on how I can meditate?

I know how you feel on about meditation. I am the same way. A few people told me that the best way to meditate is to do it when your not paying attention too it. Such as for example listening to music, drawing, reading, or anything that helps you relax your body. I find that helpful also. I sometimes tend to go off in a daze and start feeling in a relaxed state and start to meditate. It just happens really. But i like to medtiate when ever i am either listening to music or drawing. Perferly drawing. Becaus i can start to feel and see all kinds of things while while meditating.

I hope this helps you out some, but i know there are ways that you can meditate better. Just try and keep practicing your best. Don't think too hard or too much or you will never get anywhere. If you concentrate too hard you could loose energy and loose focus. Thats not relaxing your body. you should start by trying to relax your body that really help you go into meditative state.

Blessed Be

What have you tried so far? There are many things I or anyone else could suggest but it might be easier if we knew what has not worked so far.

focus on ur breathing. if ur thoughts are all on that, they cannot be on anything else. (this is what is said in buddhism and daoism, two religions/ways of life wich practice meditation with a conviction)

please dont take this the wrong way. if meditation is that hard, perhaps get tested for a.d.d or a.d.h.d. i know people with a.d.d who have trouble meditating. they are very smart, but seem to have a need to focus only on what they care about, and can make meditation hard. wr all have a touch of a.d.d, i wouldnt recomend the medication for it either, it is essentialy kiddy crack

Lol i'm not taking that the wrong way. I was tested for ADHD and diagnosed with it a long time ago. But if I actually do try, I can focus. I think I just need to burn incense because when I smell something like a candle, I get really relaxed and calm.
