Hi! :D my name is Danikan and im a beginner half-wiccan. I may not have any spell-casting powers, but i have invented 2 spells, one boring, one kinda whacked. The boring one is Hand-Cooling, obviously the name states it all. The more whacked one is Ryokinesis, or the ability to control energized water that has been shocked with electricity. If anyone would like to test these out, i will soon be posting them. Other than that i would like some help gaining spellcaster powers. Thank ye much.
You don't need any type of "power" to be able to cast spells. You may, however, wish to start with what most refer to as the basics, and build a foundational understanding of magick before attempting to do spellwork.
Ahh... thanks for the sound guidance Master LadyVendetta. It was very good to know i am not the only person, wiccan or not, who cannot cast much over the strongest of spells :) i hate being the only one to lose. If you have anymore guidance, i am all ears (or computer screen)
Yes, LadyVendetta is most correct. You don't need any 'power' the work with magic.
Also, I highly doubt 'ryokinesis' would be successful. However, I have always been intolerant to believe the existence of the kinesis so perhaps that is just me.
As Lady said, start off with the 'basics.' These are supposedly the fundamentals to beginning your path in spellcasting and witchcraft, however sometimes I feel these are over-used and stressed too much, however they will help in your magical workings. They are usually just tossed to a beginner when they ask a question as such.
'The Basics' include:
-Meditation
-Visualization
-Understanding of Magic and Energy
-Correspondences (herbs, colours, moon phases.)
-Energy Work (chakras, grounding, centering.)
My family is all wiccan but i only half-believe that we are. Hence: half-wiccan. And i attemped ryokinesis and it works if u try your hardest...i litterally felt like my hand was falling off with pain

Honey, if you aren't practicing the religion of Wicca then you aren't half Wiccan....you aren't Wiccan at all. It's not about what you believe, it's whether you are practicing as a Wiccan that makes you a Wiccan.
