not too sure what to title this

k, so does anyone know how to make a spirit cooperate? many may know i have a spirit who follows me. granted he doesn't do anything bad, most of the time, but he only does what he wants and if ask him a question he doesn't want to answer, if i'm using a ouija board [like with a pendulum] only yes or no answers, and only questions he's approved. if i ask Rori, say, if i knew him in life, and he only wants to talk about tv shows, he makes the planchet go in circles faster and faster until we have to let go, or he guides it as fast as he can off the table. it happens regardless of who's using the planchette. another thing he's done is, if i go out with someone he doesn't approve of, he spends the time i'm out terrorizing whoever's in the house. example, i went out with a guy, and my sister heard Rori pacing the hallway all night, at one point she felt someone poke her and demand she call me.

so, anyone know if there's some way i could make him, i don't want to say obey, but whenever i need do something i need of him, he'll listen, instead of going nuts? i don't want to get rid of Rori, and for the most part he's fine, it's just when he's not happy, no one is happy.

hmm, this is a tough one! i just started using the ouija board over a year and now that i changed myself for the good,i find and my partner also, stuff will move on its own...doors are closing and actually texting!! this spirit thats doing these activites was my son in a previous life so he's doing normal boy things. whenever we talk to him,we always ask him kindly to not close the door(s) or texting people because we don't like that and it makes us feel uncomfortable. i guess in your situation you could ask him kindly and kinda treat him like a kid, depending on how old he is.

i hope this helps!!

Instead of treating him like a nuisance. Treat him like a real person. Talk to him about what he wants to talk about. And see if that gets you anywhere.

Maybe what he what he needs is to be ignored when these things happened. When you and your friends are using the ouija board and he's going crazy turn away so your back is to him and start talking to you friend like he isn't there. If he throws things, let him. Keep talking to your friend like nothing he does is going to get your attention. Eventually, it may take a while but he'll get the picture. It sounds like you've tried to tell him stop plenty of times and he doesn't listen so, your not going to listen to him for a while and see how he feels. It might take a while for him to get the picture the first time but, it should help if you've got someone who's really brave to talk to that won't get scared if he does start throwing things. Finally, when Rori calms down and starts doing what you ask of him tell him thank you. Then let him ask a few questions to you and your friend. That way he still feels like he's not being treated like a dog. This could work because Rori seems to like the attention you give him and if you refuse to give it he knows he's done something wrong.

thanks, Rori and i have been friends since i was about 13, as a kid he was fun, but i'm 22, and he's still the same old Rori, so when i want to be serious, he does not and it drives me crazy sometimes. my one friend is good at talking with him, she talks to spirits like they're regular people and that normally gets us in trouble with them, but Rori just gives it right back.

i don't know exactly how old he is, that's one of those things he doesn't like talking about, he also doesn't want me to see him. why, i don't know, he materialized once just to scare my mom and i, but he looked like a normal person. he acts like a kid, but he says he's in his 20's, the precise age keeps jumping around, so we think he's telling more tall tales. oh, should have also mentioned, there are a few other spirits in my house, and we can't talk to them right now because Rori is having too much fun, and they fear him. once when Rori was mad [a few years back] i was asking one of the spirits if she knew why and then suddenly the pendulum stopped moving and sure enough Rori scared her away. that night he paced in front of my bed, occasionally putting his face close to mine [i couldn't see it, but i felt like it was there, and as though i was being glared at] all night long.

Try ignoring him like I said because it seems like he wants any kind of attention he can get, positive or negative, it doesn't matter so, just try ignoring him like I said. If you don't give him the attention he wants when he behaves like this hopefully he'll learn it isn't ok by you ignoring him when he's bad and giving him attention when he does something good. It's called positive reinforcement, like they use with dogs. I know Rori's not a dog but maybe it will work with him because it works with humans too, I know that.

When I said rewarding him I meant rewarding him by talking to him.

He sounds like he is playing the role of an overprotective older brother. He is worried and concerned, and a little overbearing.

Spirits are normal people much of the time. Only some are higher beings. You shouldn't see them as anything less than people. They have feelings too. Would you want to be watching over someone and have them try to force you to do something? Not only will you be hurt, but probably angry too.

I noticed that you never mentioned that this spirit leaves the house. You've only mentioned him inside, waiting for you and such. Does he ever leave with you? Or is he always in the house. If he is bound to the house, this could be the reason for his upset with certain things and why he is so territorial. His tall tales and inconsistent stories, along with avoiding certain subjects, all are signs of a scarred soul. Scarred souls also tend to (but do not always) bind themselves to certain places like an agorophobic individual.

If this is the case, since you are so close to him, you have the perfect opportunity to help him. You have gained his trust and care. If you don't know what a scarred soul is, think post traumatic stress disorder. It's pretty much identical. You probably remind him of someone he knew in life, so he has grown fond of you.

It isn't about "go into the light". Helping a scarred spirit is being a friend and counselor. Sometimes they snap out of it on their own, and sometimes it takes many years of hard work and dedication. But before you can do anything like that, you have to see him on an equal level, as a person.

You have to handle a scarred spirit with kit gloves. They have the capablity of going over the edge permanently. And sometimes the only thing you can do after that is banish them or call on higher beings. If that happens, you won't be seeing him again. There is no going back once they hit a certain point. And never ever call them crazy, scarred, restless or anything of the sort. They usually get very angry about that and it takes them a while to calm down. The key is to make them feel understood and normal, even when you're totally confused and think they're acting like a nutcase.
