I wanted to know what life lessons other people had learned from this site and their spiritual paths. I for example feel that I have learned the importance of respecting and listening to one's elders in addition to having patience. I would appreciate it if everybody could contribute to this thread and let everyone know how youve changed or grown as a person.

i have learned to respect ALL my elders. teachers especially, they get talked about all the time by the rude ignorant kids in my class (i was always like that though. lol. i was always more mature than my friends). ive learned to respect plants and animals :):):):) ive actually became vegetarian. just a FYI i didnt become one because of the three fold law. i have a thing for animals. :) ive also learned to respect other people's dieties and religion. ive learned about Karma so i keep my negative actions to a minimum. actaully, im a pacifist! hahaha i really, want to commit my life to helping people and the enviorment when i grow up. wicca has taught me alot, thats why i love it so much :)
This site has propelled me into a wonderful journey of mind opening education. I have made relationships here in a way that I would never have believed possible on a website. I have learned that wisdom comes from all ages. I have stopped feeling isolated, grown my confidence, and learned to take a step back. Thanks to everyone on the site :D
This site opened up The craft for me. And from there I have learnt many many things, such as what us listed on my profile. If it were not for this site and some of it's people I would be in the same situation as I was when I began. Able to understand, just not preform. I have great respect for the people on here that dedicate their time to help people learn. But there is not many I owe more to than Zebrah, she taught me so much and guided me when I was lost :).
I would recommend this site to any practitioner, but would say it would be best to not join "Spell Casters" as it is (in my opinion) a place where ut can be hard to learn due to roll playing.
I've learned how better control my temper, but I still have some more work to do. I've also learned to not use magic as a crutch. Sometimes you have to face the bad things that happen to you instead of constantly using protection spells for one situation.
