Well Mana , jing, are just energies in a nuetral state. The best way to learn to harness energies is learn what kinds there are, to the extent of known energy, and how to by 1St learning to sense them , 2ND distinguise energies from otside yourself and those that are within, 3RDly To constanly improve your speed and effectiveness of energy by learning to weave, shield, filter, trigger, tag energy signals, trace them , and learn the production of constructs, how to program them , thier uses, and, also an awakening of the chakras, , or expansion of them is also necesary at a certain point to access, and increase the amplitude of your eternal energies, plus the corresponding color asscociation, as related to the body, and through meditation incorporate the colors into your aura while programming it for its specefic purpose.
To be technically specific, mana is just another term for life force energy which can simply be interacted with practicing chakra meditation, jing is a limited amount of energy (i say limited for many reasons) its the essence of a person in Chinese tradition and in the man it is held in sperm, it can be strengthened in diet and exercise.

yea my suggestions were more for the use of energy, all enegy and matter is produced by the five elements, every magical undertaking uses these energies alone or in combination, along with tools movement, magic symbols, and entities, which are all composed of the elements to increase your knowledge study your subject matter, to increase in power, apply techniques from your path to awaken kundilini and fully open all the chakras, release your shen they call it from the material 5 senses and all things are possible, though I have fully realized this goal im well on my way .
