Aren't you young too?

I wouldn't have been able to tell your age had it not been for your profile. You don't seem that young, I believe age is just a number tho, most young people aren't mature. But some older people aren't either.

I got into the craft because I was tired of Christianity and a people being told they have to believe what you believe or they go to hell. I burrowed a book from my friend called The Teen Witch By, Silver Ravenwolf last year around March and so I got into Wicca. My mom tried many various attempts to get me out of it at the time, telling me to call my Dad who would have yelled, and quoted bible verses at me for an hour, taking me to church, and asking how much historical proof is actually in this book. At the time I needed various protection spells ans Wicca really seemed like the only option. I am also interested in animals and the Earth so that part fit in as well, but my mom is okay with it now so I`m good.

I learnt from a witch.but,it took many years. She didn't really start teaching me until I was in my late teens. In those days, witches would teach children about nature, herbs, the way of wild animals, and birds; they would never teach magic to a child! Nowadays there are a thousand books on magic, and movies, and TV shows; and that is the tragedy of witchcraft today. Too much so-called knowledge, that is not knowledge at all. Real knowledge comes very slowly.

I started with meditation at 12 years old because I was searching for my spirituality and was into Buddhism. I read a lot about different religions before I settled on Buddhism. Soon after a friend help me to find the pagan side of myself and at 14 I cast my first spell. I did a lot of meditation about whether I should move onto spell work. It was my great grandmother in a dream that settled my thoughts about casting.
