Could anyone tell me how tarot cards are read? I'd really like to buy my own and learn how.

i know that some come with a matching book and give you different spreads that you can do and they give you information on each card.

Rosemarie is correct. Most decks do come with a book that helps you understand the meanings of the cards and certain layouts that you can use. Once you know how to read them and such, just go by the feel of them. By this I mean the energies and emotions that you feel flowing about them when you do a reading. I find this method works best for me. However, we are all different; therefore, we all do a reading differently. Practice with them and bit and find which works best for you.

the raider waite is a good deck to start learning with, the books was written decades ago so i wouldnt look at them but go with what u feel from the cards, if u need help with the raider deck mail me and i will help u understand them

Yes, most of the books are. When you buy one pick one that calls to you. When you look at the books and decks you'll know what I mean.
