ummmmm i dont really know where to post this but i found a video on youtube that said wiccans dont eat meat. i think thats wrong its okay to eat meat as long as your not wastefull and you remember to thank the animals spirit for the meat. i would like to hear oyhers opinions on this. blessed be ^_^
whoever made that video is a full of crock. Wiccan's can eat meat, and most do. Vegetarinism (sp sorry) is a choice. There are a lot of wiccans out there that are vegetarians but those of us who do eat meat, do it mainly to sustain our diet or just enjoy eating it ^_^, personally i like my beef still mooing (raw)...mmmm makes good gravy on mashed potatoes
i know its sad how we treat animals used for meat but meat is part of a good diet and if the animals already dead we should not let it go to waste, i like beef in stew ^_^
not only do wiccans eat meat. they some times sacrafice animals to the gods. it either them or satan worshipers, i think its both. any way wiccans can eat meat.
ive been a wiccan sence i was six years old. (i have never heard of use sacraficing animals to any god or goddess.) i eat meat at least three times a day.

Hey now, I sacrifice animals all the time so are you calling me a witch of the middle ages Lady Tessa!? ;)
Sacrifice is made in many different ways for many different reasons. When I do eat meat I thanks the gods for the animal that gave it's life for me to live. I also do this for the plants I eat.
As for other types of animal sacrifice I have killed bugs that come into my house as an offering of peace. If they understand my house is off limits than I leave them alone outside. Some I even remove when I feel I have split to much blood for the wrong reasons. Sacrifice in any for is a way to communicate to the gods.
It all depends on how you look at the situation. :D
