Lucid dream ASAP?

I have tried so many things to lucid dream and am desperate to know how. I have tried eating cheese, bananas before bed and drinking mugwort and calea z tea. Unfortunately none of this worked. I have tried chanting 'I can lucid dream' as I fall asleep, several different hypnosis tapes, awareness tests, writing dreams down after I wake up and it hasn't worked at all. I have even tried wishing spells and asking the universe for it to happened. None of this has worked and I have been trying for over a year. Is there anything at all that I can do to lucid dream?

What I do is I lie in bed for 20 to 30 minutes. I ignore all impulses my body has. Ex. itching, blinking, etc. After I feel completely relaxed, I open my eyes. Now I'm in a really scary time called sleep paralysis. My body is asleep, but mind is awake. I can't move or speak. After about 10 seconds, I close my eyes again. I am now in a lucid dream.

I had a Lucid dream after sleeping with my tarot cards under my pillow, they were wrapped in a natural fiber.

There is no instant way to do this. It takes some dedication. You can start by recording your dreams every morning. At first you may not remember much so just write down what you can, even if it's the last few moments of the dream before you woke up. If you committ to this task for awhile, you will notice that you remember much more of your dreams. That's the first step. Next you can begin to practice recognizing when you are in a dream. I'm sure there are many ways to do this and I encourage you to try and think of ways that will work best for you, but personally I chose to do this by getting into the habit of checking the time randomly throughout the day then asking myself, "Am I dreaming?" even if I clearly knew I wasn't. There are some things that are difficult to do in a dream such as tell the time on a clock (for me anyways). I've heard of other things like looking at your hands or solving a simple math equation, it's different for everyone so like I said, find what works best for you. The idea is to make it so habitual that you incorporate it into your dreams. I guess another way would be to pick an object to look for to signify that you are in a dream. Now once you are able to consciously realize you are in fact in a dream, your mind may wake you out of it. This is the hard part, staying in the dream once you are aware it is a dream. I don't have any tips for that besides keep trying and focus on remaining inside your dreamworld. Don't give up. I eventually got the hang of it, I'm sure you can too. After you've got that down, have fun with your new found control. Try changing the likeness of something, start small like changing an objects color and then gradually increase the amount of things you manipulate in your dream. I don't know by that stage you'll be lucid dreaming and shouldn't need much help from there. Hope this helps you, good luck.
