T o cast this Charm :

- Evoke the energy of the Moon, the Goddess and the Night, even though all 3 are quite interchangeable. Once you have evoked them, invoke them. Hold your receptive hand up to the Moon and invoke the energy you have so graciously asked for.

- Now, take your Book of Shadows in hand and open it to the back of the front cover. Under the light of the Moon, begin tracing with your dominant hand on the back of the front cover from right to left (yes, right to left) these words, written completely and utterly backwards, letters and all:

HIDDEN

CACHE' (French word for "hidden". Accent on the E tilts to the right. [DO NOT write this; informational ONLY] )

NASCOSTO

READ NOT WHAT YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND

SPEAK NOT WHAT YOU CANNOT SAY

SEE NOT THE CONTENTS WITHIN THIS BOOK.

SO MOTE IT BE.

- Once you have traced those words from right to left completely backwards, letters and all, move your hand over the "traced words" and speak them aloud in the night.

- Ask that the Moon, the Goddes and the Night conceal all contents within your Book of Shadows from all wandering eyes and that if it should be opened by anyone but yourself, the reader will read nothing but pure jibberish and completely arbitrary writing.

- Thank the Moon, the Goddess and the Night for their help in your Charm and release them back into the night.
