silly question

Sorry for asking another silly question, but I was interested if I can use black candles. I was told that black candles are ok and is used for getting rid of negativity. So my questing is: is it ok to use, for example black+green candle together??? I don't want to ruin my spell or even take it wrong turn. Can someone who has experiences with black candles tell me please.

The question would be, what are you trying to accomplish? If, for example, you were burning the green candle to attract money into your life, then you would probably not want to burn the black candle at the same time. So it really depends on what your goals are.

You might want to find a copy of the book "Practical Candleburning Rituals: Spells and Rituals for Every Purpose" by Raymond Buckland

as Lark said, it depends on the situation. i have a white and a black pillar candles for the Lord and Lady. certain times of the year, i will use a green candle, Yule for instance. it's not for a spell, but i do burn multiple coloured candles at once in rituals. i've also cast spells while the pillar candles were lit, with no problem. think about what the candle represents in the spell before casting. that should help you figure out if you need a black candle burning or not.

ive read soo many things in 16 years and the weirdest was how even to light a black candle, however basic candle colors are for certain things but you can reuse them even though your really not supposed to and alter candles are fine , i use a black candle regularly to me it means something not negative...
