I would advice everyone that when learning magick that you learn everything you can and find out what works best for you we all are connected best to diffrent things.
here are a few tips.
Meditation
Choose a position that is comfortable, most people like to sit down, with you legs crossed,. You can also sit on a straight backed chair with feet flat on the floor with your arms comfortably on your lap.
Next you should close your eyes and try and clear your mind.Some people focus on their Breathing. just keep focusing on it until your thought eventally dissapear. when a thought comes into your mind just let it pass then start to focus again.
Grounding
is good to get rid of negative energy within your body. this actully helps you when your spell casting. imagine you are a tree standing straight. sinking down into the ground going deeper and deeper you reach earth, now imagine your energy, your bad thoughts etc, going out of yourslef down through the roots and going into the earth.
here is one main thing to spell casting you need to be "BELIEVE" if you dont believe and your thinking negative youv never be successfull in spell casting so i think that when you cast the spell just forget about the spell. so then you dont add anything negative.
i see in the forums many times asking what is a easy spell? you may think its easy by the sound of the spell, but in mind no spell is easy. it depends on the experiece on the person casting the spell.
i also see people saying white magick and black magick, guess what? magick has no color magick is all intent so befre you say you do back magick think about what im saying.
while getting ready to cast a spell imagine energy around you, well what i have learned this is the energy for the spell, or imagine your spell working which raises the energy.
Its better to have candles ingriedients herbs etc for a spell because it has more power, but if you dont have any its fine you can cast without them.
