And You've the Nerve...

I am getting quite tired of some calling us -the serious practitioners- close-minded. When we tell you that a vampire spell or a werewolf spell or a mermaid spell does not work, that gives you the right to say we are close-minded? All of us say that because it is the truth, and truth can be hard for some.

And some of you say we are rude. When we say 'a spell doesn't work', that is rude? When we say 'a vampire spell doesnt work', we are all suddenly cruel and heartless people with no morals? No, I highly doubt that. Being rude and telling the truth are two different concepts and I suggest looking at your dictionary.

Countless times after times the reason we say these spells do not work is because magick cannot change your DNA. Magick is not going to magickally poof a gene into your DNA so you can become a mermaid, vampire or werewolf or anything else you want to become. Magick does not work that way and never did. Magick obeys the laws of nature.

Scientifically, DNA can be changed through the process of a mutation. Mutations from what I have studied and learned has only happened in a habitat where there is a significant amount of pollution, like radiation. These pollutants contain chemicals that when put into the body, can change it drastically. Radiation is one pollutant I especially know of.

Even with that put into play, I do not know how you are going to become a mermaid, vampire or werewolf.

Another reason for this is...do we even know how their DNA looks? How do we even know what DNA a mermaid has? Have we ever seen it? I doubt it. How are you going to become something whom the DNA is not even known?

Lastly, a mermaid, vampire and werewolf are mythological creatures. We do not know if they existed or not? If they did, then great. They were smart enough not to leave their DNA behind for modern society.

And...you've the nerve to call us close-minded...when we use actual evidence to prove this. This is not going to be some war. I am just simply stating the obvious.

No, this is not an enlightenment because most won't even agree with me.

i agree partly what you have wrote, and one little sentence i have learned is " Each to there own ", as for becoming a mythical creature all depends on the mind, the mind is a very powerful tool, it is used in all forms of magic. for example through visualization say one could become say a vampire, a mermaid and so forth. I have used visualization many times to be an animal a great stag, an eagle and so forth. there has been story's through the centuries of children being fathered or mothered by wolves, yes there dna may not change, but there mind does, they become and feel. Also its the same old story with everything lots dont believe till they see, bit like magick you cant see it or touch it yet we know its there, cus our mind is open to it, so all in all the mind is a powerful tool.

True, through visualization one could be a vampire, etc, but visualization was not the main point. The point was that there are spells on here that say "turn into vampire really works" and such. These spells are obviously fake. No one could physically change into a vampire, warewolf, mermaid, and such. Magick follows the laws of nature. It is against the laws of nature to change the genetic code of yourself. No need to get mad or upset when youre told you cant. It seems like its common sense.

Well done for posting this!! Seriously....I've been called closed minded and told I was taking my faith "to seriously" by some because I have said the same things -.-'

It is true though that everyone has the right to believe what they want to. Although it's not like we're cramming this information down their throats. It would be a lot more simpler if people could just be a little more tolerant and a little less ignorant.

If your not 100% sure on something newbies please just ask us. We won't bite, I promise haha It's better to know than to assume you know something.

As I have said many times on this site; you may believe anything you wish, but a belief does not make it true!
It depends on whether you want a "belief", or you want the truth!

Personally, I agree with some of what you said but it's sort of become my thing to represent the other side of people involved in this so here it goes... I do not mean this in offense I just seek to show another opinion and how things can be viewed differently from another perspective. Underlined/Bolded parts have been changed.

I am getting quite tired of some calling us -the serious practitioners- fluffies . When we tell you that a vampire spell or a werewolf spell or a mermaid spell does work, that gives you the right to say we are fluffies ? All of us say that because it is the truth, and truth can be hard for some. And some of you say we are close minded . When we say 'a spell works', that is being close minded ? When we say 'a vampire spell works', we are all suddenly stupid and annoying people with no morals? No, I highly doubt that. Being stupid and telling the truth are two different concepts and I suggest looking at your dictionary. Countless times after times the reason we say these spells do work is because magick possibly can change your DNA. Magick could magickally poof a gene into your DNA so you can become a mermaid, vampire or werewolf or anything else you want to become. Magick could work that way and always did. Lastly, a mermaid, vampire and werewolf are mythological creatures. We do not know if they existed or not? If they did, then great. They were smart enough not to leave their DNA behind for modern society.

(I can't argue with this part, well put)

And...you've the nerve to call us close-minded and fluffies...when ALL of magic is just theories and goes unproven by science. This is not going to be some war. I am just simply stating the obvious. No, this is not an enlightenment because most won't even agree with me.

~Thank you for your time.~ Upon request I will delete this if Seek finds it offensive.

I understand, Rain. We have to see the sides of the others as well. I don't find it offensive at all.
