I know it sounds very logical but is it also possible for you to use its power for yourself insted of it just owning you?

That is the purpose of invoking.

Possession is when they are benefiting. Mediumship is when both parties usually benefit. Invoking is when you benefit. Mediumship and invoking should both be taken seriously and should only be approached after much experience and understanding of magick has been established.

So in other meanings.. It works as one then jus one controling over part?

in invoking you dont control the thing you invoke you ask for its help it can always say no thats why its imperative to be polite and try to build a relationship with a particular deity
