interesting but confused:

I got bored one night at work and found this site. I've always been a huge fan of magic userswhen I play rpg games and stuff. Its my choice of character because its very interesting what can be done. I never really thought though that it could somewhat exist until the other night when I was bored I was like I'm going to do a google search and see where it came from and stuff. I then came across this site and I have been looking around a bit. Its a very interesting site indeed but I don't understand the concept of magic use or anything that, frankly I don't know if it really even exist.
I decided to join this site to see how it is possible for someone to do this or even if it is possible. I see all kinds of spells and such around but I don't see real proof of its existance. So basically I'm asking how am I suppose to believe in something like this which I really would love to, if there is no proof of it happening and if it does happen how do I get others to believe in it so they don't just laugh at me. I'm talking about real friends that all say the same as me and enjoy the same as me.
Any iformation would be appreciated to make me believe more into it. I believe in some things like this that could maybe in someway happen but I have never seen it happen. I hope you all know what I mean when I say this.

Magic is all around us if you open your eyes and see it. You can not convince a person to believe in magic because they have to come to that on their own. Practicing magic is a daily part of a magical practitioners life. Each day one needs to meditate, work on their chakras, and be aware of there surroundings.

Magic lies within our selves as well as all living things. Energy lies in all things, though some objects have more magical energy than others. Magic is energy manipulation such as using the energy around your body to protect you. This is referred to as shielding. Spells and other magical workings manipulate energy so that a certain outcome is attained.

Meditation is the cornerstone of magic. Here you will learn to manipulate energy by "breathing in positive energy and breathing out negative energy". To cast magic one needs to be able to gather energy and direct it. You must also have faith in yourself and that your desired outcome will happen. How long this takes depends on how much in the universe has to be effected.

If you are looking to do a spell to prove to yourself that magic is real you will never find it.

So what you are saying is magic only exist to the eye if you believe in it. So if you can't show someone it exist unless they believe then technically magic isn't really existing unless you see it in your mind. So that means you have to picture it which means it isn't technically real its just only real if your mind and eyes make it real. This is the part that confuses me.

What one person sees as magic another might see as coincidence. It is a choice to believe in magic just as it is a choice to believe in "god", modern medicine, to be a vegan, evolution, etc. You can not prove magic is real to another person because, just like scientific theories, their is no proof only evidence.

Magic is in a seed growing into a tree. Magic is also when you light a candle and focus you thoughts on an outcome, see it in your mind, let the candle burn out, and then have your thoughts manifest into the outcome you wanted. You can not prove that this was more than coincidence but there is evidence that it could have been the spell you cast. Whether you choose to believe it was magic or not is your choice. ;)
