Dancing candle flames

I just finished casting a particular spell that involved candles. I bought special ritual candles for this. It asked me to focus on the flames & I noticed that while I was trying to get into the mindset to concentrate, the candle flames were still pretty much most of the time. But during the times I was really in deep thought, the flames started bounding around up & down really fast. One particular candle did this much more than the other. The flame would dance & bounce very quickly then get calm again. Then it would do it again & again. This mostly happened when I was really in deep thought. Does this mean anything? Hopefully it means I was doing it right. I did have to break concentration to look at the next steps on my phone & to see what time it was because it involved a certain amount of time but other than that I never broke concentration

A reason this was happening could be that by concentrating you were giving the candle energy therefore, making it move :)

An unsteady flame is usually a sign of resistence.

" As long as there is no draft in the air, there may be resistance against you. Try putting more willpower and energy behind your intention. If you are directing a spell toward somebody, they could be picking up on it and working against it, consciously or not. The higher the jumping flame, the more resistance there is. "

The flame of a candle always has a meaning.

If it was a clean and steady strong burn :

" This generally means a green light, for your intent is clear and you prayer or spell has been successfully sent. Especially if the candle is burning in glass and there is no wax residue, scorching or blackening where the flame is, then there is a good chance your intentions will work in your favor and you will receive your answer or wish quickly."

This website - from which the quotes were taken out of - has good information on the flame of a candle, on the way it burns and it's meaning:

That's a very good read. I've bookmarked it. & it makes sense. What about a halo around the candle flame? I saw a very beautiful greenish/yellowish good sized circle around each flame

When I accidentally stabbed myself in the hand last week actually trying to cut a wick out of a candle, I performed a health spell on myself cuz I don't like going to hospitals & I really didn't want stitches. I'm the kind of person to tough it out even with a knife in my hand. The cut was really deep & I was able to see into my hand..horrifying. I castes my health spell & less than a week & a half later, it completely closed up & almost completely healed. Last time I got a cut like that was on my finger when I was 11. A piece of broken glass went through my finger & it took 3 weeks alone for it to close up & it was about the same deepness. Usually the health spells I perform for me & other people work quickly & completely. I did do a love spell on the guy I was dating back in September. Our relationship was moving very slowly so I casted a spell to make our bond stronger & since there were mutual feelings it wasn't against his free will. Just needed a boost cuz I felt like things could have been stronger at that point in time cuz we were together for about 2 years by then. It did work for a while. He was all over me. I performed another spell which was a soulmate spell & 2 days after I casted it he didn't talk to me for 6 weeks & I met my current boyfriend when he flew here from out of state. 6 weeks later the guy I was dating at the time dumped me for another woman & I ended up getting with the guy from out of
State....so as upset as I was I think it worked cuz it was thenuniverse telling me I didn't belong with that guy but with the guy from out of state

Please remember that text speak is not permitted on this site. Spell out your words completely. It's "because" not "cuz" Many of our members do not speak English as a first language and text speak is very confusing to them.

It really does depend on what spell you were casting. As many believe all flames have a meaning. I would say that since one candle was jumping up and down it could have been resistance. If it was a spell towards somebody it was either working with it or against it, I would suggest putting more energy into your spell.
